Shipping & Delivery

The terms and conditions below apply to all offers and transactions of Vanguard

All items listed on the website are offers to sell

Buyer initiates the transaction by making an offer to buy any of the items listed and Vanguard completes the transaction when we accepts these offers to buy or when the buyer accepts any counter-offer made by us to sell other similar items where items under original offer to buy are out of stock, no longer available or under any other circumstances.  When we accept the buyer’s offer to purchase or when the buyer accepts any counter offer made by us, a transaction is created.

When an online order is placed with the website, a Sales Order is created.  A copy of the order goes to the buyer and another copy goes to our Sales Department.  Our staff will check our Inventory to confirm that the items are available for despatch. If an item is no longer available or out of stock, the buyer will be notified and an alternative similar item will be offered to the buyer. Once the buyer confirms the intention to accept or reject the counter offer, the buyer will be advised of the Shipping/Delivery Charges for the items to be delivered.  When the buyer confirms acceptance of the final amount to be paid, a Sales Invoice will be raised. When the Sales Invoice is drawn up, the Shipping/Delivery charges and GST will be added to the invoice. The invoice raised will then be sent to the buyer for payment.

By accepting an offer, counter offer or making an order, you expressly accepts the applicability of these terms and conditions.

Deviations from that stipulated in these terms and conditions are only valid when they are confirmed in writing by the management.

All rights and entitlements stipulated for Vanguard in these terms and conditions and any further agreements will also apply for intermediaries and other third parties deployed by Vanguard

All offers made by Vanguard are without obligation and Vanguard reserves the right to change the menu listings or prices.

All prices are listed in Australian Dollars and prices does not include GST which will be added to the invoice on Checkout or after confirmation of orders placed.

Where promotional prices applies, these prices are valid only during a specific period as long as stocks last. No entitlement to these prices may be invoked before or after the specific period.

Vanguard cannot be held to any listings or price indications that are clearly incorrect, for example as a result of obvious typesetting or printing errors. No rights may be derived from incorrect listings or price information.

PAYMENTS FOR ORDERS

All prices are exclusive of GST.  GST will be added to the total amount payable on the invoice during checkout.

On placing an online order via the website , you will receive an email confirmation containing your order details. We will normally confirm receipt of your order within a few minutes of ordering. We will attempt to send your online order confirmation via email within 2 working days.

When an online order is placed via Checkout, a Sales Order is raised and forwarded to the buyer’s email address provided on registration with the website.   The Sales Order is then checked against our Inventory to confirm availability of the items for delivery. Once availability is confirmed, the buyer will then be notified of the Shipping/Delivery charges and when the buyer accepts the charges, an invoice will be raised for payments to be made.

The following methods of payment are accepted : Cash, Direct Debit to our Bank Account, Cheque,  Mastercards or  Visa Credit Cards.  A surcharge of 1.5% will be charged for payments via Credit Cards.  Banking details for Direct Debits and Cheque payments will be available on Checkout.

When payment of the invoice raised is confirmed, a receipt will be raised and emailed by the system or the seller to the registered purchaser.

Once payment of an invoice is confirmed and cleared, the item purchased will be packed for delivery within 5 working days from the date payment is cleared.

DELIVERY OF GOODS

Physical goods may be delivered by Australia Post and/or other reputable courier companies as determined by Vanguard.  Deliveries are processed promptly upon receipt of full payment. Delivery may take between 2 and 14 days, depending on the delivery option.  Damaged or lost orders should be resolved with Australia Post or the courier company directly and we are not responsible for goods that are damaged in transit or not received. Replacement of damaged or lost items is made at the discretion of Vanguard.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Vanguard handles returns and processes refunds in accordance with the Australian Consumer Protection legislation.

Should you wish to return your order, please notify us within 14 days of purchase with a valid reason for return. If valid returns are approved and accepted and we are unable to resolve your complaint or further assist you, we will process a refund upon timely receipt of the goods purchased. Unopened goods will be refunded in full. All other refunds and amounts to be refunded will be processed depending on the condition of goods returned and received by us.  Refunds will be processed promptly and payment made by the same method that you made payment. All refunds are made at the discretion of Vanguard.

Vanguard will offer a refund to the extent required by law (including the Australian Consumer Law). You must apply for a refund within a reasonable time frame. Vanguard does not offer refunds or exchanges as a result of wrong orders placed or a change of mind or a change in your personal circumstances or goods damaged or becomes inoperative as a result of negligence or lack of care or contrary to instructions or guide in the handling of the goods.
